Happy 2012

It has been forever!! I have thought of my blog often and hope to start being diligent from now on about my blogging :-)

I am still dreaming, lots of dreams!
1. Being totally debt free including the house.
2. Going on vacation, a cruise to Cozumel with the extended family. (OCT 2012)
3. Going to Sea World, Discovery Cove and swimming with the dolphins... it will happen.
4. Seeing more of the USA, I don't care where but I want to explore.

Those are just a few of the biggies, but I have many, many small steps to complete to get to the big rocks. Here are "OUR immediate" list we are concentrating on:

1. Paying off Chase, balance of: $700.00
2. Paying off Citibank, balance of: $1106.68 (there will be a few more charges for a Dr. bill $108.00 (we have had alot of medical bills in the last year :-(
and another charge for our SDC tickets. I can't wait to go to WW and SDC, it has been 4 years since we have been!
3. Pay off our Jeep loan to Western Federal Credit Union, 4444.80 before our last payment.
4. Pay off our house...this is more long term. $43,988.00
5. We also want to build on a new master bedroom, bathroom and large closet. To do so we will use a line of equity credit loan which is much cheaper than a standard loan at the bank. I really don't want to get another loan but we want our son to enjoy our home for the last 6 years he will be living with us :-)

We live in a 2 bedroom, one closet, one bathroom home on 20 acres. Do I love my home and regret our choice of buying our dream farm? NOPE!!! But I do want to add on and make it more comfortable for us to live in. DH will be doing all of the work and will save us a load of money. I love that handy man of mine.
